Sb2O3 is a layered oxide crystal with easy exfoliation characteristics much similar to that of graphene and MoS2. Sb2O3 crystals. These crystals exhibit ~3.2-3.7eV optical band gap and is considered an alternative 2D dielectric to h-BN, as a catalyst, as well as single photon sources. Sb2O3 layers crystallize in layered cubic phase which gives them unique quasi-1D chain structure much similar to ReS2, TiS3, and other 2D anisotropic materials. Sb2O3 crystals are synthesized using flux zone technique at 99.9995N purity. Each order comes with 10-15 few mm sized crystals that are ready for exfoliation.
